Robot Detour

Difficulty : 1.5/5 (Easy)
Global : 1.5/5 (Decent)
Robot Detour is a short puzzle game in which you control a little wired robot that needs to find a safe path to bring batteries to its friends.
The wire of the robot is infinite in most levels, the game is not about optimizing your path. Puzzles have spikes in various places, and you simply have to find a way around them.
I liked the concept, however this is the kind of puzzles that can quickly get very tedious if it gets challenging. While different, Filament has the same core gameplay, is very hard, and suffers from that as many people find this game too frustrating (I don’t, but I understand).
Robot Detour chose to be the opposite and plays it safe, staying on the easy side. There are a few challenging levels but the vast majority of the puzzles are literally solved in seconds. Fortunately, each world introduces a new mechanic so the puzzles stay fun… but yeah, aside from some quick fun, there’s not much to find there if you’re used to puzzle games.
It might sound like an insult (and it’s absolutely not meant to be) but this would make a quality mobile game.
Recommended if you want an easy puzzle break.
