Supraland Six Inches Under

Difficulty: 2.5/5 (A bit Hard)
Global: 4.5/5 (Excellent)
Supraland is back for a second dose of FUN!
This game has the same core gameplay as the first Supraland: you explore an area, solve puzzles to find upgrades that unlock the next area etc. The scenario and characters are always full of humor and references (we play as the plumber of the kingdom this time by the way).
The exploration is still the most important aspect with a lot of secrets and optional chests/coins to find everywhere and areas to revisit, a delight for completionists.
However, the big improvement compared to the first Supraland is the dissociation of combat and puzzles: no more enemies that constantly appear in all areas and graves! Now you only have to kill them once, they are also more interesting to face and require variations in the weapons used (not like the braindead gunfights of the first game…). Obviously, the fights are still not hard, that’s clearly not the focus.
The puzzles are not redundant with Supraland 1, some upgrades are the same but there are plenty of new things or things done differently. They are ingenious but never difficult, at least in the main story.
Little spoiler ahead!
The setting is totally different as we are this time underground and not on the surface, but the environments are still as beautiful. The music also still fits very well.
Another excellent game that still embodies the definition of fun. In any case, if Six Inches Under is only an extended DLC, then Supraworld is seriously promising. And I really hope that the series will gain in popularity, it would clearly deserve it.
