Unpacking

Difficulty : 0/5 (Extremely Easy)
Global : 1/5 (Decent)
In Unpacking, you relive the memories you have from all the time you moved out in your life. The gameplay is really simple: you get items out of the boxes and place them in the house.
This is not a “puzzle game” at all, what they call “puzzle” is rather the restrictions you have about where you can place items. It’s just common sense, like you can’t put things on the ground, kitchen items must go in the kitchen etc.
You also have plenty of space so there’s no problem on this side either.
I considered dropping the game after the first two houses… but surprisingly I kinda started enjoying the game. The relaxing side is really effective and I thought the achievements to be fun to hunt.
So yeah, as a puzzle game, it’s pretty terrible and I unfortunately can’t recommend it. But the game isn’t bad.
I’m also a bit fed up with misleading “puzzle” tags.
