Lines On Sides

Difficulty : 2.5/5 (A bit Hard)
Global : 2/5 (Good)

Lines On Sides is a minimalist puzzle game in which you have to rearrange tiles to match the symbols on the sides.
Each tile is composed of 4 sub-tiles. You can move and rotate the tiles but the sub-tiles are fixed (at least at the beginning).

The game is balanced, the first half is rather boring because it’s just pure observation, but the second half introduces some interesting mechanics.
You’ll be able to split the content of a tile in two, copy a tile etc – the game shows its true colors.
And it’s actually good! There are some pretty hard levels in there, though nothing will really be a problem if you just analyze and deduce carefully.

You’ll only start being in trouble if you carelessly manipulate the tiles without a clear plan: there’s no undo button, so it can get messy if you just try things randomly.
The game isn’t there to trick you or to be unfair, most of the tiles only need to be moved and only a few of them actually need to be tampered with.

Lines On Sides is a good game with an interesting concept. If you like that kind of minimalist and purely logical puzzle game, it’s a safe bet.
Recommended.
