A rough list of every puzzle game I’ve played, ranked by overall quality<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the global ratings, I mainly analyze the puzzle design and the game’s quality. How well the mechanics are used, how ambitious and creative a game is, how polished it is, the quality of life features etc. I’m a firm believer that a good puzzle is a hard one, puzzles are by essence supposed to challenge you as much as possible, which is why difficulty is generally<\/strong> very tied to quality in my ratings. I know, a difficult puzzle is not necessarily a well-designed one, or a concept can be so convoluted that you’re hardly having fun. I’m not a robot, my enjoyment of the game also counts. And just like a hard game can feel too convoluted, an easy game can also be pure fun and gain some points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>
